Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Department-Metro Division Police Chief Scott Thomson are seeking the public’s help identifying a person of interest wanted for questioning in connection with the first homicide of the year in Camden, and are offering a cash reward for information.
Video of this person was taken at Sheridan and Norris streets in Camden at 11:53 p.m. January 2, just minutes after Tristan Fulton, M/39, was fatally shot on the 1600 block of Louis Street.
A $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction is available through the Citizens Crime Commission. To collect the reward anonymously, call (215) 546-TIPS. Jerry McKenzie, a 35-year-old Camden man, was shot at the intersection of Haddon Avenue and Lansdowne Street in Camden, NJ, at approximately 10 a.m. on February 17, 2008. His case remains unsolved.
In 2013, law enforcement personnel from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden County Police canvassed the neighborhood where McKenzie was killed hoping to generate new information about the person or persons responsible for his death. The video is part of an ongoing effort to raise public awareness of this unsolved case.
